Marcos Senna, ex-footballer and current Villarreal C.F. ambassador is in the process of completing his UEFA A & B licenses which will someday allow him to coach as the highest level. The ex-Spain national team member was taking part in the course, hosted at the RFEF training facilities in las Rozas, home to the Spanish National team.

Senna along with other internationals and teammates such as Xabi Alonso, Raúl, Víctor Valdés  and Joan Capdevilla to name a few. As ambassador and day to day representative of Villarreal this qualification will further improve his involvement on the social side as well as the sport side.

The friendly match was only the start of the days festivities which included a live viewing party of the World Cup 2018 Russia Draw. With the conclusion of the draw where Spain learnt that they will face Portugal, Morocco and Iran in the group stages, Marcos and ex Villarreal teammate Joan Capdevila took place in a roundtable discussion with ex National Team coaches Vicente del Bosque and Javier Clemente to analyse Spain’s rivals and chances of success at the World Cup 2018.

Fernando Morientes, David Albelda, Míchel Salgado, Carles Puyol, Vero Boquete, Ismael Urzaiz, César Sánchez, Frédéric Kanouté, Marcos Senna, Christian Karembeu, Milinko Pantic, Gaizka Mendieta and the three new signings of the season, Xavi Hernández, Kiko Narváez y David Villa compose the current LaLiga Ambassadors team and who better than them to represent LaLiga Santander.

Marcos welcomed the new signings on his social networks, with who he competed on the fields and in the case of Xavi and Villa two of the former teammates of the historic Spanish National team that won the Eurocup in 2008.

The participants from Benicarló, had the chance of sharing moments and experiences together with the actual member of the Institutional Relations Department of Villarreal. They could also enjoy of a training session where Marcos Senna actively participated, together with 5 coaches from the academy.

A great initiative that the club organizes with the intention of generating a closer relation between the club and the fans and to transmit the values and philosophy of the club along the community through one of the biggest club representatives, Marcos Senna.

LaLiga team faced Iranian All-star made up by some of the legends of the country’s football, leaving a great image on the field, both of football and atmosphere, winning not only the match but also the love of the fans gathered at the Stadium Azadi from Teheran.

Besides the match, LaLiga Legends expedition travelled to Ibiza for an event organized by the prestigious watch producer TAG Heuer with great personalities such as David Guetta and Martin Garrix to celebrate the collaboration between the two entities with a very entertaining event.

Deaquiparafuera, launches this annual solidarity proyect in which the Marcos Senna Foundation has got involved, to impulse and promote the scholarship to make true the dream of a young athlete of travelling to the United States. The former football player, through his foundation gets involved personally on supporting the initiative in favor of the youngsters with less economical resources.

The bet of Deaquiparafuera on football is big, since there is a great work on formation going on in Spain, with many spanish youngsters that have great qualities and great conditions to receive this sports scholarship in the United States, due to the high reputation of the football level in Spain. Therefore a casting has been organized and it will take place the 21st 22nd of December in Alicante. It will be the greatest meeting of northamerican coaches in Spain, with representants of ten different universities.

December 30, Marcos Senna assisted to La Liga Awards Event, where he was named new ambassador. His long trajectory at Spanish football, playing nearly 300 matches, from which more than 250 where in the maximum category, make of Marcos a reference for future generations.

Marcos has been protagonist in the awards ceremony together with Carles Puyol, Milinko Pantic and Cesar Sanchez who will also be part of the 14 ambassadors of La Liga BBVA (Morientes, Albelda, Roberto Carlos, Michel Salgado, Kluivert, Urzaiz, Figo, Kanouté, Karembeu and Gaizka Mendieta) to represent and diffuse globally the values and greatness of Spanish first league.
