Marcos Senna has been nominated for the Goal of the Year of the New York Cosmos´ 2014 Season along with his teammates Mads Stokkelien, Andrés Fores and Danny Szetela.
The goals scored by New York Cosmos´ players this season have been narrowed to top five, among them two goals of Marcos Senna: a goal scored May 12th during the match against Minnesota United and the free kick scored October 25th against Tampa Bay Rowdies.
This is not the first time a Spanish-Brazilian midfielder has been nominated as the best goal scorer. Last year one of his goals was chosen as the second best of the whole 2013 Fall Season.
